A Michigan woman who escaped from prison in 1977 has been captured.

Michael Elliot, who escaped from the Ionia Correctional Facility Sunday evening, has been captured by authorities.

Former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick walked away from prison on Tuesday, free on parole. Kilpatrick served more than a year for a probation violation in a 2008 criminal case. Before leaving prison, Kilpatrick cashed out his prison bank account, which contained 28 cents. He might have a chance to build a new account soon.....
