Caught on Camera: Middle School Student Beaten, as Classmates Watch [VIDEO]

A student was beaten until he lost consciousness, while fellow classmates looked on at a middle school in Indiana. Now the student and his parents are suing Benjamin Rush Middle School.

Austin McDaniel was put in a choke hold, and punched repeatedly. The teen's mom says the incident occurred very close to the office and classrooms, yet no staff intervened. She is also upset because school officials waited over an hour before contacting her, and making her aware that the boy had suffered a concussion.

McDaniel's friend Logan was the victim of a similar attack 11 days later, possibly as a retaliation.
