Stranger Pays Off Almost $50K in Walmart Layaway Bills

"Santa B" took kindness one step further by paying off ALL of the layaway items on hold.

Ryan Kennedy, the store manager at the Walmart in Everett, Pennsylvania, got a phone call a couple of weeks ago from somebody identifying themselves only as Santa B. Usually, when they ask for a manager, it's not a good thing. This time, it was different.

Santa B wanted to pay off every single item that was on layaway at the store - $46,265.59 worth. A time was arranged when Santa B could come and drop off a check, and then Kennedy had the task of calling 194 people to let them know that their bills were paid, and that they could pick up their Christmas gifts. Some were in tears.

In a town of 1,700, this became a pretty big deal. Nice job, Santa B!
