There are several Memorial Day ceremonies, celebrations and parades scheduled all over Michigan. The same will go for Independence Day and Labor Day. But there are many other crazy, fun and outrageously ridiculous events all over the Great Lakes State that attracts partygoers from all over the country and the world.

The list of these unusual festivals is huge, but here are some that really caught our eye. In the middle of June, check out the Mackinac Island Great Lakes Pirate Festival.
