It was a birthday like no other for a Shiawassee County man who bought a Club Keno ticket on his big day and cashed in for a big present.

Lake tells the Michigan Lottery that he bought his ticket at the American Legion Post No. 248 in Laingsburg. Langsburg is about 20 miles northeast of Lansing.
It turns out that buying a Club Keno ticket on his birthday was a great present for himself.
"I love playing Club Keno and play often at the American Legion. I was there on my birthday and bought a ticket just before I left," he said. "When I stopped at a party store later in the day, I checked my ticket and was very happily surprised that I had won $200,000!"
Lake went on to say that he plans to invest his winnings.
Can You Stay Anonymous if You Win a Big Lottery Jackpot in Michigan?
Winning a big jackpot from the Michigan Lottery seems like it would be a dream come true. But it could be problematic if you're forced to reveal your identity.
The good news is, that Michigan residents who win more than $10,000 playing state-only games have the option to remain anonymous.
However, residents who win jackpots playing multi-state games like PowerBall and Mega Millions have to be identified. However, winners are allowed to form a 'Lottery Club' with a paid representative who can be identified as the face of the club. While the identity of the representative must be made public, the other club members can remain anonymous.
