Saginaw Woman Treated for Brown Recluse Spider Bite [VIDEO]

This is NO JOKE, people. They are NOT native to Michigan, so we need to have our guards up.

Jessica Greenwald from Saginaw noticed a red splotch on her arm, which quickly turned into a big, fluid-filled blister. She did the right thing and sought medical attention. Her doctors believe she was bitten by a brown recluse spider while she was sleeping.

We've said it before and we'll say it again - brown recluse spiders are NOT native to Michigan, but they have been found here recently because of our mild winter.

DO be vigilant, DON'T brush it off as "it won't happen to me."
