Puppies Living in Hole Rescued in Tuscola County – The Good News
Momma and her babies are expected to be okay and up for adoption by next week.
Tuscola County Animal Control received a call last week about a mother dog and her puppies who were living in a hole in the ground under an old piece of metal. They called the Mayville Fire Department for assistance.
Animal Control and the fire department were able to rescue all seven puppies AND their mom. They were taken to the vet and given a clean bill of health. Obviously, momma dog did a GREAT job keeping her babies safe.
The puppies will be available for adoption as early as next week, as soon as they all have the proper vaccinations. Mom is very timid, so they're working with her on that before she's adopted out.
