Popular Birch Run Restaurant Has Permanently Closed

Victor & Merek's Deli made the announcement on social media a few days ago.

After 24 years and with a heavy heart we have made the difficult decision to sell/close this location. We will be working to open a new location on the north west side of the state and we will keep everyone posted. I as well as my wife Laura and my sons Victor & Merek would like to take this time to thank our wonderful staff without whom we could have never built such a loyal following. They have become family over the years and we are eternally grateful for their dedication and hard work. We would like to especially thank the Velma Whitehead whom has been with us here in Birch Run since day one as well as her family-Jennifer, Katie and Rhyan. Our valued clientele and all of the friends we have made over the years will be missed and remembered with great pride. Thank you all again from our family to yours.

They were best known for their deli products, baked goods and pizzas, as well as having a large gluten-free menu.
