Police Are Asking For Help Finding Two Missing Owosso Girls
UPDATED: The girls were found safe in Ohio.
Police are asking for the public's help in finding two little girls that were taken from their home in Owosso. It's believed that the two girls were taken by their father and could be headed toward Tennessee.
According to MLive, Ayverie and Rosie Burford, 3 and 2 years old, respectively, were taken from their home in Owosso by Jared Burford—their father. Police said surveillance video from a nearby business shows Burford leaving the area carrying both children.
Jared Burford (father)
- 25 years old,
- 5-feet-8-inches tall
- weighs about 130 pounds.
- He also has tattoos on both of his forearms, upper arms and his chest.
- It's unclear what type of vehicle he's driving.
While we don't know the personal situation between the mother and father, we do know that she (mother) obtained a personal protection order on the father from the 30th Circuit Court in Lansing
Police are asking anyone with information on the whereabouts of Burford or the children to call 911 or the Owosso Police Department at 989-725-0580.
Hopefully, these girls are found soon and this story ends up with happy ending. Well, as happy as you can get with a terrible situation like this.
