Michigan Girls Found After Early Morning Amber Alert Activated
After an early-morning Amber Alert (that probably woke you around 2am today) has been cancelled after two West-Michigan girls have been found safe.
Authorities say 4-year-old Nova Perez and her 3-year-old sister Luna Perez were found when their biological father Alex Perez was arrested in Clear Creek County Colorado.
Alex Perez is being held in connection to a double homicide in West Michigan. The names of the victims have not yet been released. WNDU reports that Perez has not been very cooperative with Colorado police.
