If that's not creepy enough for you, it went from being a funeral home to a haunted house.

Unfortunately, this is becoming a common tale in the Flint area - abandoned buildings, destroyed by others. In fact, there's an entire Facebook page dedicated to it called Abandoned, Old and Interesting Places in Michigan.

One of the most recent posts was about the old Brown Funeral Home, which was turned into a church...and then into a haunted house. There seems to be a lot of confusion as to what actually went on there; an MLive article from 2013 about the "Hell Experience" haunted house shutting down quoted residents as saying that they didn't know who owned the building or what took place inside.

It appears as though there was quite a bit left over after the building was officially abandoned, per the pictures below. Some of the remnants are obviously from vandals; others look to be props from when it was The Hell Experience.

Either way, talk about CREEPY! 78 days til Halloween, folks. Thank you to Joey Molloseau Colburn for these fabulous pictures!
