Ahhhh summertime in Michigan is shaping up to be back to some normalcy with a packed full schedule of great events.

After having to cancel last years festivities, Packards & Pints is back on for 2021. Held at the Historical Packard Proving Grounds in Shelby Township , Michigan, the event will offer an evening of good drinks, good food and music. The event will take place on Saturday, June 19th starting at 7:00pm.

The event, a fan favorite of car enthusiasts, is hosted in conjunction with the Packard Motor Car Foundation as a fundraiser for the restoration of the main gates and the repainting of the historic water tower.

Along with a chance to sample dozens of craft beers, wines and cocktails, guests will be able to tour all of the original buildings designed by Albert Kahn including the original testing garage and view the foundation’s private collection of Packard cars. Back in the day, the 500 acre testing grounds were used for the most luxurious cars sold. The Packard Proving Grounds now finds itself on the National Register of Historic Places.

Tickets start at just $33 with both VIP, will early admission, and General Admission bundles available. They event will also feature a live DJ with great music as well as food trucks with food available for purchase.

There is also special pricing for Classic Car Club members at only $25 per couple that will include entry for the car owner. That bundle does not include the samplings of alcoholic beverages as the other bundles do.
