Exciting Hot Wheels Legends Tour Returns to Michigan This Summer
Proving those little die-cast toys we loved as kids have some serious longevity, the Hot Wheels Legends Tour is rolling across the world and will be pulling into Michigan this summer once again.
The tour is back bigger and better than ever with an all-new search for a custom vehicle worthy of being immortalized as an actual 1:64-scale Hot Wheels die-cast toy. The Hot Wheels design team will travel across the country, joined by celebrity judges and special guests at every stop, and select the finalists from a fresh crop of amazing builds according to the website.
Last year the tour made a stop in Michigan as they headed out on a global trek during its search. Hot Wheels Legends Tour made stops in 11 countries on five continents during 2021. They even did a broadcast live from Jay Leno’s Garage. Custom car builder Lee Johnstone from Somerset, England was crowned the winner and named a Hot Wheels Legend for his 1969 Volvo P1800 gasser “Ain’t No Saint.”
