Owosso Businesses Are Seeing Counterfeit Cash Passed Around

The fake cash that was seized over the weekend includes $20 and $100 bills.

Call me naive, but I didn't know that you could purchase counterfeit bills online.

Several Owosso businesses spotted fake cash being passed around this past weekend. The bills came in 20 and 100 denominations. If you have any information about these bills, please call Owosso Police Department at 989-725-0580.

And if you're the one who is paying for stuff with these fake bills, you can stop now. It's not cool.

If you're a business owner, keep your eye out. The Owosso PD encourages the use of counterfeit deception pens or other means of protection.
