Another local business owner, coming to the rescue.

An ER nurse in Linden, who had called the Tri-County Times' hotline, wanted to thank the owner of ACE Hardware in Durand for a last-minute delivery.

The nurse (who wanted to remain anonymous) had been searching for a P100 mask for some extra protection at work, but couldn't find them online anywhere. A friend of hers contacted the ACE Hardware store in Durand and asked the owner to keep a lookout for the masks.

Stephanie Stutts, the owner of the store, found some on a back shelf in the store and drove them to the nurse's house in Linden and left them on her porch.

Amazing how everybody is coming together, even for other neighboring communities.
