Oscar Mayer Releasing Hot Dog-Flavored Ice Cream Sandwiches

Now THAT is completely unnecessary.

Never once have we thought, "Wow, you know what would be great? Hot dog flavored ice cream!"

Oscar Mayer has announced that they'll be releasing the Ice Dog Sandwich. It's got hot dog-flavored ice cream and spicy mustard, sandwiched between two cookie pieces. The company created it in honor of National Hot Dog Day.

Couple of problems here:

1) it's not bacon. Just because bacon ended up tasting good on everything (and that was a total crapshoot), doesn't mean that hot dogs will be the same.

2) Are they Koegels? If they're not, we're not interested.
