New Playgound Being Built at Richfield Public School This Friday

And volunteers are still needed!

We heard about this from Marie Heath, who owns the McDonald's in Grand Blanc with her husband Kirk. McDonald's of Michigan is teaming up with the Dr. Pepper Snapple Group, and nonprofit groups Good Sports and KaBOOM! to build a brand new playground at the Richfield Public School Academy in Flint.

The kids at the school were asked for their input - what would THEY like to see in their new playground? They drew pictures of sports equipment and play structures they'd like to have, and designers drew up the final plans.

The playground will be built this Friday - they could still use more volunteers, if you're interested in helping out! Just comment on their Facebook post HERE.
