The staff wanted to celebrate the families who were coming together in court on World Adoption Day.

Everybody, including Muskegon County Prosecutor DJ Hilson, dressed up as superheroes. Hilson dressed up as Batman. There was cake and cutouts of superheroes. They wanted to make the day special for all of the kids who were being adopted.

Muskegon County Probate Judge Brenda Sprader said that it was important to recognize those families and kids as superheroes. So, the staff dressed up as their favorite superheroes in court last Friday for Michigan Adoption Day.

World Adoption Month goes all the way through November. And somebody is DEFINITELY cuttin' onions in here.
