Mullet Finalists Announced for Fenton Business’s $500 Contest

Who's got the best "mud flap" in the mitten?

The votes are in and the finalists have been announced for Bridge Street Exchange's mullet contest.

The men's clothing company, which is located on Leroy Street in Fenton, launched their contest a couple of weeks ago. And now, voting for the winner is OPEN.

From their Facebook page:

Ladies and Gentleman... we have searched the great State of Michigan to find the best mudflap! Entries have come from all parts of Michigan to show off their amazing Mullets and we think we have found the Top 10 Best. After careful consideration and judging here are the Top 10 contestants.
**PLEASE NOTE*** Our voting round will start Monday July 6th and will run through July 12th. This will be done on our website and we will provide the link.
Top 3 will win select prizes and the top winner will receive $500 in CASH. Who's ready??

Store owner Kevin Begola wanted to bring something "different," telling MLive that there are always a lot of beard contests...but no mullet contests.

"Uncle Keith" from the Machine Shop was one of the guest judges who helped pick the finalists. Their mullets range in length from six to thirty inches. Some of the guys have mullets AND epic beards, which is kind of amazing.
