Movie Theater Serving Beer, Wine Will Open in Livingston County

There's no schedule for groundbreaking yet, but the theater will be about 13 miles south of Fenton.

A new Emagine Entertainment movie theater will be opening in the Hartland Towne Square on the north side of M-59 in Hartland Township.

It'll take up 64,000-square-feet and will be built just south of the Meijer store. It will have10 screens, plus an IMAX-style screen, which they call an “EMAX experience.”

They've also applied for a liquor license so that they can sell craft beer, wine and cocktails to movie-goers. The company was supposed to break ground this spring, but they've decided to go after a tax abatement, which is delaying the process.

Meanwhile, if you can't wait, you can head down to their other location in Novi.
