Mobile Food Pantry Truck Coming to Burton Today

The Food Bank of Eastern Michigan will be out with free food this morning.

They've partnered with Burton Kiwanis to offer a mobile food truck pantry this morning from 9-11 AM at Our Risen Lord Lutheran Church, in the parking lot. It's located at 4040 Lapeer Road in Burton.

I know that it's beyond a lot of us to think that some people can't afford food on a regular basis; I mean, I know that we budget like crazy for groceries because MAN food is expensive nowadays, but I always forget that there are families go hungry and simply go "without." Never be ashamed - just make sure that you get what you need.
