Welp, this just proves that you can't fix "stupid."

A West Michigan woman was fined $575 for taking four fawns from the woods, taking pictures of them in her home, and then giving them to friends as pets.

This occurred on two separate occasions in May, after Karen Hofstetter posted pictures of the fawns on her Facebook page. The Michigan DNR issued four misdemeanor citations to the woman for taking a protected animal from the wild. The citations were later combined into one, lowering the fine.

Real classy lady right there. Nothing like taking animals from the forest, then threatening to kill them all after you're fined for it. *eye roll*
