Today brings the first round, with some thunderstorms possible, but tomorrow is the one to watch. That’s when the stronger system moves in, and we could be dealing with heavier rain, gusty winds, and even some hail in spots according to MLive.

Now here’s where it gets tricky. Temperatures are way above normal, which normally we’d take in April, no complaints. But that warmth is actually making things worse. It’s helping fuel these storms and adding to the overall moisture in the air.

Even though the worst flooding concerns are up north, Mid-Michigan is still in line for enough rain to cause ponding on roads, soggy yards, and the usual problem spots filling up fast.
