Michigan Police Department Pulls Photoshop Prank And It’s Hilarious
I bought into it hook, line and sinker...and then realized that I, too, had been played.
The Bath Township Police Department, which is just northeast of Lansing, was trying to figure out a good way to connect with the younger generations. So, over the weekend they posted a pic of one of their vehicles with the word "PoPo" on the side and this caption:
So as some of you may have noticed, our page has been pretty helpful in connecting us with our community. We've found though, that we are still struggling to really reach the younger folk out there. So in an effort to bridge that gap, we've decided to update our patrol car graphics in an attempt to be more relatable to the local youths.
Needless to say, people went NUTS. But don't worry, it's just a good Photoshop job. And this isn't the first time that the Bath Township PD has played around with their social media followers...
