They're also donating to first responders in the area.

Carol Van Thomme and her family own and operate Van Thomme's Greenhouse in Chesterfield Township, Michigan.

And, just like other businesses during the pandemic, they've been hit particularly hard during the COVID-19 outbreak. They have a lot of product that they can't sell because of the Stay Home, Stay Safe order.

So, instead of allowing their Easter flowers and plants to die off, Carole and her daughter drove around town and donated them to local first responders including police, hospitals, and nursing homes.

This happened in Genesee County last week with Curtis Flowers in Flint Township - they put all of their flowers from their cooler on their porch out for free pickup. As much as we hate that small business is suffering, we love seeing what they're doing in response.
