All children in Michigan -- not just those living in Flint -- may soon have to be tested for lead exposure before their first birthday, and again before going to school.

The recommendation was made by a state board, formed after Flint's Water Crisis earned national and international headlines.

But contamination from lead-tainted water isn't the state's only concern. Reports say Michigan children are often exposed to lead through soil and lead-based paint.
