The Michigan High School Athletic Association voted on the measure last week.

Michigan joins New Jersey in being the second state that will limit full-contact during high school football practice. It's all part of Practice Like Pros, a non-profit group that aims to reduce injuries for high school athletes.

Research indicates that 58% of concussionms for high school football players happen on the practice field.

The new limit would bring down the time of full-contact football practice from 90 minutes to 30 minutes per week.

What do you think about this? Is it a good idea?

As a side note, I can't believe that we're only the SECOND state in the NATION to do this.
