Michigan Girl Raised $5K for the Saginaw VA – The Good News

This is the fifth year of her lemonade stand and she's brought up her "profit" by literally thousands of dollars.

Samantha Stricker is now 13-years-old and could easily be considered an entrepreneur. She started a lemonade stand five years ago and, at the time, was going to keep the $150 profit for herself. Instead, after seeing a story about a local veteran, she donaetd the money to the Saginaw VA.

Ever since then, her idea has taken off in the media. This year, her lemonade stand was set up for five days outside an American Legion post and she raised $5,000 for the VA. Great job, Samantha!
