Michigan Boy Saved a Toddler from Drowning – The Good News
Way to go, Jordan!
6-year-old Jordan Harris was honored by the city of Durand on Tuesday night for his heroic actions after an incident over Memorial Day weekend at Walnut Hills Family Campground.
While camping with his family, Jordan noticed a 3-year-old waving his arms as his head was bobbing under the water. Jordan sprang into action and swam over to the boy, picked him up and brought him to a place where he could reach safety.
Once the toddler was safe, he ran away to play as if nothing had happened. Jordan's mom said that he doesn't think he did anything heroic, but the city of Durand disagrees - they honored him the other night with a proclamation of recognition.
