MGM Resorts Sue Victims of Las Vegas Shooting to Avoid Liability
Welcome to 2018, ladies and germs. This is the world we live in.
MGM Resorts, the company that owns Mandalay Bay and the Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas, has filed federal lawsuits against more than 1,000 victims of the shooting last October.
The company argues that they can NOT be held responsible for the deaths, injuries or other damages following the mass shooting on October 1st.
Now, to be clear, they are NOT seeking monetary damages from the victims, but they ARE seeking for the federal courts to drop the lawsuits against MGM.
I know that we're a sue-happy society, and this just proves it on both ends. What a world we live in, folks.
