If you've been looking for a dog that will play fetch with you for HOURS, look no further - Morty is your furrrever best friend.

He's about a year old and came to the Humane Society of Genesee County right before the pandemic locked down the entire world so, unfortunately, he only really knows the employees and volunteers at HSGC.

It doesn't take him long to warm up to you, but you MUST be patient. Adopting this sweet boy will require a few visits to the HSGC to get to know him. From personal experience, I can tell you that he was letting me pet him and giving me kisses by the end of my visit yesterday so, if you give him the time he needs, he WILL warm up to you.

Morty needs to be the only fur baby in the house, and preferably in a home with no young children, simply because of his size. He's 67 lbs of pure love and fun once you get to know him.
