What's being built in Downtown Grand Blanc?
Located diagonally across from Huntington Bank, McAlister's Deli is preparing to open soon.
Building signage and lighting has been placed in the last couple of weeks. The new landscaping is in, too.
McAlister's Deli Assistant General Manager, Kimm Waldo, replied quickly to our inquiry for an opening date. She told us initially it would be mid-October on 10/16.
We are super excited to join the community.
That date has moved back one week because, if you've ever opened a business or built a home, you know things change.
What does McAlister's Deli serve?
They're known for a big variety of flavorful sandwiches, salads and soups. Perhaps one of the most-loved items is their spuds.
Those spuds (baked potatoes) are giant and come in a variety of loaded ways like Chipotle Chicken & Bacon or Black Angus Roast Beef. You can always order the "Justaspud" if you don't want all the toppings.
The tea is so popular, there's a tea pass. It's available for reward members to get a tea each day of the month.
The next time you're craving a giant healthy salad or comfort food, you'll have a new option nearby. Or, let them cater if you want something in the office in the dead of winter.
We're happy to have another McAlister's in Genesee County, right here in Grand Blanc.
