Love Wine? Winery Will Pay You $10k a Month For Dream Job
It's a dream job. That's how Murphy Goode WInery describes the position on the application page of its website, and they are right.
Murphy-Goode Winery, based out of Sonoma Wine Country, is offering an amazing one-year position with a monthly salary of $10,000. The gig also comes with free rent and 30 cases of wine.
According to the posting on the Murphy-Goode’s website, the duties for the new hire will be “intentionally vast". The new addition the the Murphy-Goode team will have a chance to figure out which aspects of wine-making they may be interested in. Also, they’ll be able to shadow winemaker Dave Ready Jr., who is the son of one of the company’s founders.
"the first 90 days will be spent shadowing winemaker Dave Ready Jr. and exploring all aspects of harvest," the company's website read. "From there, we will work with you and your passions to help you choose your path in the wine business."
According to the website posting, to apply for the dream job custom made for wine lovers, applicants need only “pull out your camera and show us why you are a really Goode candidate”. Applicants 21 and older must submit a video entry by June 30 letting the winery know why they would be a perfect fit for the job.
