There are so many things that just make Michigan awesome! From endless outdoor activities throughout the year, countless craft brews, great colleges, and so much more. However, it doesn't end there. Michigan has produced a lot of great talent and has been the home to a ton of great movie sets!

Movie productions have traveled all over Michigan to film scenes for a bunch of films. Michiganders have seen movie cameras everywhere from Escanaba to 8 Mile. It really is super cool to see Michigan landmarks and settings pop up in movies.

If you are anything like me, you get a chill every time you see the Congress Street sign at the beginning of Batman v Superman or drive by a location used in 8 Mile. It is actually pretty fun to sit back and watch a movie while trying to spot locations you have actually been to. I knew Michigan has seen its fair share of movie productions, but I didn't realize how many great movies have been filmed here until now.

Most of us know that 8 Mile, Batman v Superman, Robocop, and Semi-Pro were filmed in Michigan. However, did you know that scenes from Die Hard 2, Escape from the Planet of the Apes, The Karate Kid, Oz the Great and Powerful, and many others also filmed scenes here?
