Lapeer County is coming together for a local family in need. Ryan Wilson and Renee Hirsch, owners of The Country Market, have spearheaded a fundraiser for Lapeer resident Nate Young.

Mr. Young tragically lost his 17-year-old son Nathan Young and his daughter Kylie Young, 15, in a tragic mobile home fire at the end of March. In an effort to help with the funeral expenses, a raffle fundraiser has been set up.

So many awesome people have stepped up and donated items for the raffle. Prizes include gift certificates and products or services from the following businesses,

  • Flowers by Carol
  • Salon 101
  • Andriana’s Cleaning Service
  • Saving Kitchens
  • The Lake Inn
  • Rollin Dough Cookie Company
  • Doctors of Physical Therapy
  • Chef G’s

  • Matt’s Home Improvement
  • Calvelli’s
  • Hall of Frames
  • Elm Beauty Bar
  • Tech Smart

Tickets will be available at The Country Market this Thursday (4/14), located at 2236 Imlay City Rd in Lapeer. Ticket prices are as follows,

  • One ticket for $5
  • Three tickets for $10.

No other purchase is required. All proceeds go directly to Nathan Young for funeral costs. The drawing will be held on April 24, 2022. On behalf of Ryan and Renee Hirsch, and everyone here at US 103, I thank you in advance for your help and support.
