We will absolutely share EVERY ONE of these stories until there is no medical debt left.

If it's a day that ends in "y," a Michigan church is probably paying off medical debt for strangers. We've lost count at how many of these stories have made The Good News and we think that's a good thing.

A church in DeWitt, which is just north of Lansing, is following in the footsteps of others and doing good for their community - using the RIP Medical Debt service, the church has paid off the debt of 3,800 people in their area. Yes, complete strangers.

The debt totaled to about $3.8 million, and non-profit service helps to negotiate down to pennies on the dollar. Those who had their bills paid will receive a letter in the mail, no strings attached.
