I think that most of us were shocked and horrified when the verdict came back on the Casey Anthony murder trial. Not guilty said the jury! How could this happen, we asked? Two years later, the Florida judge who presided over this case shares his thoughts.

The search for precious two year old Caylee Anthony was heartbreaking and the criminal investigation that ensued upon the discovery of her little body had so many twist and turns, that it was hard to keep up. All of those tragic circumstances came to a head in the crazy courtroom trial that saw the little girl's mother, Casey up on charges for first-degree murder, and ultimately found not guilty.

The Florida judge who presided over that trial, Judge Belvin Perry, Jr, broke his two year silence to speak on Monday's 'The Today Show' with Savannah Guthrie.
