Severe Weather Weekend: Tornadoes in Alabama, Avalanche in Colorado

It was pretty quiet here in the mitt and we should DEFINITELY be grateful.

It was a nasty weather weekend for a good portion of the country, and the videos are incredible...and devastating.

Denver and surrounding areas experienced heavy mountain snow and bitter cold over the weekend, and one driver caught the effects of said snow in a terrifying video.

A driver caught an avalanche roaring down the side of the Rocky Mountains near I-70 yesterday. It didn't make it to the highway, thank goodness, but a second avalanche closed the interstate for hours.

Further south, Alabama was hit by several deadly tornadoes. The death toll is at 23 and rising.

Thinking about all those affected by this terrible weather. Michigan has your back. :(
