Witches, Prizes, and Broom Races Return to Scooter’s in Flint This October

A date for the 10th annual SAD Witches event at Scooter's Bar & Grill in Flint has been announced.

This is one of the most anticipated events in Genesee County, offering a fantastic experience for a great cause.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Shelter Animal Donations. SAD is a nonprofit organization comprised of volunteers from Genesee County Animal Control. They work closely with the GCAC staff to ensure that animals receive the best care and support.

When is the SAD Witches event at Scooter's Bar & Grill?

The fun happens on Saturday, October 11th, 2025, at 4:00 PM

Tickets for the event are just $40 and include the following,

• First drink
• Appetizers
• Prizes

Tickets go on sale Monday, September 15th, 2025.

Are witch costumes required?

Yes, you must be in a witch costume to attend this event. There will be contests for the following,

• Sexiest Witch
• Scariest Witch
• Crowd Favorite
• Broom Races (Tricycles)

DJ Vinni will be spinning witchy tunes, and Still Rain takes the Scooter's stage starting at 8:00 PM.

Are men allowed at the Scooter's Witch event?

Yes, if any warlocks or wizards want to attend, buy a ticket too.
