Police Find Pontiac Kids Living in Feces Filled Apartment While Mom Disappears

I don’t care who you are or what you’re dealing with in life, there is absolutely zero excuse for what these kids were living in. The woman you’re about to hear about is an awful human being, plain and simple.

A Pontiac mother of three was recently arrested after police found her children alone in an apartment so filthy it honestly makes your stomach turn. And yeah, everyone should feel disgusted by this.

According to MLive, the 31-year-old was arraigned on three felony counts of second-degree child abuse after deputies discovered conditions no child should ever have to endure.

The whole thing started when her 12-year-old daughter called 911, thinking someone was breaking in. Instead, officers walked into an apartment with no working plumbing, rotting food everywhere, and actual human and animal feces on the floor. Let that sink in.

Because there was no plumbing, the kids had been using a cardboard box to go to the bathroom. A cardboard box. These are children, not freaking animals. And their mom? Nowhere to be found. The kids told deputies they hadn’t seen her since the day before. She eventually came back and was arrested.

When she finally came face-to-face with the judge, she completely lost it. She started yelling, swearing, and even threw a chair during her arraignment. Her bond...denied.

Sheriff Michael Bouchard said it perfectly: it “defies understanding” how anyone could treat their kids like this. Thankfully, all three children have been placed with their biological fathers.

I’m not someone who ever wants to see kids taken away from their mom, but in this situation, it’s absolutely the best case scenario.
