Tattoo Party At Woodchips BBQ Lapeer

Iron & Ink and Reasons To Ride Michigan are hosting a Bike Night Tattoo Party at Woodchips BBQ in Lapeer.

The event will coincide perfectly with Friday Night Bikes in downtown Lapeer. This is a great opportunity to show off your ink, and your motorcycle, and get some exposure for your awesome tattoo artist(s).

This is one of many upcoming tattoo contests hosted by Iron & Ink and Reasons to Ride Michigan. There will be prizes for those showing tattoos and for the artists that did the work.

Participants and fans will be able to vote for their favorite tattoos. Prizes will vary at each event and winners will be showcased in the magazine (more on that below). If you are interested in being a part of the contest, please register in advance here for $15 ($20 day of the show). Otherwise, this is a free-to-attend event.

The fun happens on Friday, June 30th from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Tattoo shops are more than encouraged to be a part of the event too. That information and more provided by Reasons To Ride Michigan is as follows,

Photographers will be on-site from Iron & Ink The Magazine and Reasons To Ride Ohio to photograph some of the work shown and showcase it in both the magazines and online. Full recognition of both the exhibitor and the artist/shop. This is not only a great opportunity to show off your work a little – but also to help support your artist.
Due to the public aspect of the show, participants please exhibit tattoos that are easily shown without revealing too much.
Photographers will be taking pictures of motorcycles with both men and women participating in the contest for upcoming IRON & INK features. This is a great chance to show off ink, and bikes – and get some exposure for your shops as well.
Local tattoo shops are encouraged to participate in the shows and invite their customers to showcase the work being done by their artists.
Special recognition and prizes are awarded to shops having more than four customers and at least two artists on hand for the contest.
