Oh yeah, Indiana? Well...well...WE HAVE LEGAL WEED!

Digital billboards often rotate advertising throughout the day, and these billboards on the Indiana/Michigan border are no different...except that they make fun of the mitten state.

The billboards are in rotation on I-69 near Angola. The northbound sign reads, “Now Entering Michigan: Really? You’re sure about this?”

The southbound sign reads, “The Great State of Indiana Welcomes Michiganders To A Free-To-Roam State. We Thank You for the Revenue!”

In case you've been living under a rock, these signs are poking fun at Michigan's Stay Home, Stay Safe orders from Governor Gretchen Whitmer, which has been extended for the third time till June 12th.

The signs were debuted for Memorial Day weekend when tourists were flocking north for the first time this year.

The billboards are owned by Steve Swick, owner of the Swick Broadcasting Company. Swick claims that the response has been positive so far. He told WOODTV that it's not meant to be political; “It’s just to get people thinking and let them know that the great state of Indiana is getting open for business and we welcome them to come down,”

Indiana is currently in stage three of its five-stage plan to open the state back up. Retail stores are opening at 75% capacity with social distancing guidelines, bars and nightclubs are still closed and gyms may open with restrictions. Amusement parks, movie theaters and playgfounds remain closed.

Fine, Hoosiers. Play whatever games you want - we *clap* have *clap* legal *clap* weed.
