A north Georgia Humane Society has been exposed, after an investigation into its 'Lucky Dog' program revealed that the shelter was euthanizing animals, after promising that they would not.

For $100, Boggs Mountain Humane Shelter guaranteed customers that sponsored animals would not be put down before living out their natural lives. They even sent emails to sponsors, indicating that the animals had been successfully adopted.

But a Florida TV station discovered the entire 'Lucky Dog' program was a scam.
