About 90 volunteers from all walks of life showed up on Tuesday to give the Vietnam veteran's home some TLC.

Gary McGrath is 71-years-old. He's been VERY sick for the last couple of months; he already had health problems but fell ill with pneumonia and sepsis in April and was placed into a medically-induced coma. The work was already planned, but Gary's daughter was afraid that he may not live to see them.

Fortunately, Gary is currently in rehab. The employees and volunteers put in a wheelchair ramp, a handicap-accessible bathroom and new appliances.

We just LOVE how Home Depot gives back to their local communities like this. Hats off to all the workers and volunteers!
