Hiring Fair Will Fill Hundreds of Jobs in Flint
Lear Corporation, the new automotive seating plant in Flint is getting ready to host their first job fair. The job fair is scheduled for January 17th from 11 am to 4 pm at the Regional Technology Center on the main campus of Mott Community College. Lear is working with Mott Community College Workforce Development for their initial hiring fair.
Lear Corporation is a major supplier of General Motors and is looking to fill hundreds of full-time positions. The plant is scheduled to open in April with over 400 new workers. If you want to apply for one of the open positions you should have a high school diploma or GED, flexible hours, must be able to stand eight to 10 hours, and pass a drug and background check.
