
Grand Blanc Student Helping Animals on Hurricane-Ravaged Island – The Good News
Bailey Brown has family on Vieques, an island next to Puerto Rico, and she's made her student project all about the island's animals.
Bailey is in 5th grade at Myers Elementary in Grand Blanc. Her aunt lives on the island; she says that their house is okay, but the island has no electricity and there are animals roaming around with no shelter, food, etc.
Her aunt is volunteering at the Vieques Humane Society, who posted this to their Facebook page yesterday:
