Genesys Opens Urgent Care Facility in Downtown Flint

Genesys Downtown Flint Health Center is now home to an urgent care facility.

Genesys says  "as the revitalization of the Flint area continues - the need for medical care, including urgent care, also will continue to increase." Betsy Aderholdt, president and CEO of Genesys, says with the new facility "Genesys strives to bring the right level of medical care to the right population in the right location."

The staff at Genesys Urgent Care - Downtown Flint will include physicians trained in primary care and emergency medicine who have many years of experience in treating patients with a wide range of illnesses and injuries. The fees for urgent care will be comparable to other after hours' visit charges and most insurances will be accepted with no appointments being necessary.

Hours of operation will be: Monday through Saturday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. The center will be closed Sundays and holidays. For more information, call (810) 762-1550.
