Genesee County Fair Starts Monday

While we're in county fair mode, it's time to get ready for another one which starts on Monday. The Genesee County Fair will be held at E.A. Cummings Center in Mt. Morris. One new feature this year is Twiggy, the world famous water skiing squirrel who has been in several movies including "Dodgeball." There's going to be plenty of events happening throughout the week.

In addition to seeing Twiggy and going on the rides, there will be a rodeo, monster truck show, demo derby and of course all the great food. For all you country fans, you can check out Rodney Atkins on Friday night.

There will also be a classic car show, BBQ throw down and if you need a break from the kids you can head to the beer tent where there will be live entertainment. Or there's always the 4H rabbit and guinea pig show which will be going on every day during the fair. The Genesee County Fair kicks off Monday at 9am with the first 1,000 attendees receiving a free corn dog.
