FYI, Your Consumers Electric Bill is About To Go Up

Regulators have approved a rate hike for Consumers Energy customers in regards to electricity, starting next week.

To be fair, the rates are less than what Consumers had "self-implemented" back in September, so customers WILL get a refund with interest. However, the rates are 2.8% higher than their raise back in 2015.

Wouldn't it be cool if we could conduct our lives just like this? If we could self-implement a raise for ourselves at work, and then hope that our bosses approve it later? *laugh out loud*
