Fundraiser for Paralyzed Flint Business Owner for an Accessible Van
Talk about not letting anything hold you back and being an inspiration!
Eric Patrick Thomas is a local business owner - he operates EZ Awareness by Design. And he's also been in a wheelchair for over twenty years after a random shooting. He was left paralyzed and spent months in a rehab center in Colorado, and was told that he'd need to live with family or in an assited living upon his return to Michigan.
Eric proved them all wrong - not only does he run his own business, but he also has his own house. He says that he wants his disability to be an inspiration to others.
Now, at this point in his life, he needs a wheelchair-accessible van. There will be fundraiser dinner on August 25th from 1 PM - 11 PM at the Polish American Club. There will be food, drunks, games, silent auction and more!
Their goal is to raise $65,000. Admission is only $5. See the flyer below if you can help!
